folders/unzip/unpack (2014-06-23 11:25 by oddsbeater #73574)
I have a folder that contains numerous other folders, each of which contains 4 files. The FILES$ command does not list folders, probably because they have no extension. I need to write a program that will list the contents of a folder to a string array similar to the FILES$ command. I can use either the original zip files or the extracted folders that contain 4 files each (from Brisnet), a horseracing data site. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Decimal BASIC has no measure to obtain the directory structure.
Use some software to obtain it into a text file, and then read it with Decimal BASIC.
This process may be automated by using EXECUTE statements.
