Bonnie++ is based on the Bonnie hard drive benchmark by Tim Bray. The most notable features that have been added are support for >2G of storage and testing operations involving thousands of files in a directory. This program is used by ReiserFS developers, but can be useful for anyone who wants to know how fast their hard drive or file system is. It now includes ZCAV in the package. This program tests the performance of different zones on the hard drive. ZCAV has been released separately before but will now only be released as part of the Bonnie++ suite. Japanese Project Description: Bonnie++は、Bonnie（ティム・ブレイ氏が作成したハードドライブ・ベンチマーク）をベースにしています。追加された最も注目すべき特徴は、2Gを超えるストレージのサポートとディレクトリ内にある何千ものファイルを含むテスト操作です。このプログラムは、ReiserFSの開発者が利用していますが、ハードディスク又はファイルシステムがどれくらい速く動作しているかを知りたい人に役立ちます。現在のところ、パッケージにZCAVが含まれています。このプログラムは、ハードドライブ上の異なる区画の性能をテストします。ZCAVは、以前は別にリリースされていましたが、今ではBonnie++の一部としてリリースされます。 Would you recoomend this project? | |||||||||
