This release fixes event processing in IE9 and fixes URL building issues.

This release includes several improvements and bugfixes. It implements AJAX layout downloading, reducing the initial load size by 70%. It adds a CKEditor plugin. It adds a new skin, "Goldie". It fixes a selection handling bug: hanging browsed when DEL was pressed in an empty input field.

Errors originating from weird IE security checks were fixed. Reset of a selected layout on input field change was fixed. The stylesheets were tuned to set proper font sizes for different languages.

Performance in IE was improved. A bug with broken input in richtext editors was fixed. Execution on embedded platforms was fixed.

This release fixes issue FS#31 with incorrect deletion of the non-printable characters in certain browsers. It has improved input performance. It fixes loading when the document is ready. It adds more layouts: Sinhala, Georgian, Lao, and others.

Project Description

Javascript VirtualKeyboard allows you to use any
existing keyboard layouts without having them
installed on your local PC. This tool is useful
for embedding into a WYSIWYG HTML editor, a Web
mail system, chat, forum, or any other application
requiring user input. About 80 languages/170
keyboard layouts are supported. It has an easy and
powerful design, allowing it to implement complex
layouts like Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and so on.
It has full support for keyboard and mouse input.
It features a completely CSS-driven UI that is
easy skinnable.
