Project Release Information2009-12-13 23:17 This is mostly a bugfix release, but it also contains several new features for the LicqWeb GUI, such as showing recent messages, setting offline status, and resizing windows. 2009-10-24 22:05 Many bugs were fixed and several new features were included in the Qt4 GUI, such as spell checking and configurable keyboard shortcuts. 2008-10-02 04:14 This is mostly a bugfix release but with one big exception. The Qt GUI has been fully ported to Qt4, gone through a makeover, and is now available as a separate plugin. 2008-09-17 18:15 Various bugs in both Licq and plugins that caused crashes have been fixed. The client ID sent to an ICQ server was updated to enable login after 2008-07-01. MD5 based authentication is used for ICQ login instead of sending plain text password. Support for downloading contact pictures from an ICQ server was added. A Qt4 GUI was added. 2007-11-27 22:13 Project ResourcesProject Description Licq includes all the basic features of ICQ, like sending/receiving messages, chat, file transfer, contact list with pixmaps and user status, basic/extended user info, adding/editing users from within the GUI, user history, user groups, and new user registration. All commands and information are available through a simple and convenient tab dialog. Licq also has a completely configurable user interface with Skin and Icon pack support. It is written in C++ and comes with a GUI plugin using the Qt widget set. Other plugins are also available, like basic MSN support. |  |
