What's Slashdot Extension?

Slashdot Extension is a Firefox extension to make easier to use slashdot.jp and slashdot.org.

1. select text and click "slashdot submittion"

2. Edit story and click "preview story"

3. check preview and submit!

It provides following features:

• Story editor: you can write story to submit slashdot with built-in story editor. story editor's some form (title, url, your name, story's body...) are automatically filled with webpage's title, url, and selected text you browse.
  

  you can also edit story with external editor
  
  

• Slashdot toolbar button: you can add Slashdot button to Firefox's toolbar for accessing to function of Slashdot Extension.
  

  Slashdot Extension provides "Slashdot toolbar button"
  
  

• Adds "Submit to slashdot" menu to context menu (right-click menu).

And, We'll add following features:

• Slashdot Search toobar: provides quick story search functions.
• Notification: show notification from slashdot on toolbar.
• Journal editor: to write journal on slashdot with built-in editor.

Slashdot Extension is now under developing. We'll welcome any comments and requests.

• Firefox 3.0 or later.
