( This is a translated post of http://sourceforge.jp/projects/tomoyo/lists/archive/dev/2011-April/001347.html . )

Yoshihiro Kusuno released GPET (Gui Policy Editor for TOMOYO Linux) ver. 0.2.

Project page: http://sourceforge.jp/projects/gpet/
Source code: http://sourceforge.jp/projects/gpet/downloads/51745/gpet-0.2.tar.bz2/
Binary package: http://sourceforge.jp/projects/gpet/downloads/51745/gpet_0.2-1_i386.deb/

Usage is almost same with ccs-editpolicy since he implemented UI part using
GTK+ while reusing ccs-editpolicy's file IO part. Many of limitations which
existed in the previous version are solved in this version.

GPET should build and work on Ubuntu 10.04/10.10/11.04 or CentOS 5.5/5.6 with
TOMOYO Linux 1.8.1 or AKARI 1.0.11 and ccs-tools installed.

Currently binary deb packages are available for only x86_32, but x86_64
version will become available in the future.

Changelog:

  Updated to use ccs-editpolicy from ccstools-1.8.1-20110401.tar.gz .

  Support detaching ACL window.

Rename from "Memory Usage" to "Statistics", with shortcut change from
Ctrl-U to Ctrl-S. (Basically, shortcut keys are "Ctrl" + "the corresponding
command key assigned to the CUI version of ccs-editpolicy" .)

Added support for offline mode and networking mode.

Added config file ( ~/.gpetrc ) for customizing fonts and colors.
You can create the file by "cp /usr/doc/gpet/gpetrc.sample ~/.gpetrc".

Changed shortcut key for toggling between domain list and process list
from Ctrl-O to Ctrl-@ (as with that of the CUI version).

Added support for removing redundant ACL entries.
Shortcut key is Ctrl-O (as with that of the CUI version).

  Print mode to window caption.

Move the cursor to the added entry when an entry is added.

Copy to clipboard buffer in addition to GPET's internal buffer when copying
  cursor line's data.

  Added support for search dialog.

Tips:

When GPET is closed via menu or tool buttons, window's size and location
are saved and will be reused upon next time. When GPET is closed via X
  button, they are not saved.

Bug reports and feedback are welcome.
