<title>Retry occurred when sequential write test - CrystalDiskMark Ticket #28245 on SourceForge.JP</title><link>http://sourceforge.jp/ticket/browse.php?group_id=4402&amp;tid=28245</link><description>When Bench-marking a USB Mass Storage Device Using CrystalDiskMark Sequential Performance test, the write test will be retried if the write speed more than a certain speed which i believe is around 160MB/s.
However, because of the nature of solid state storage medium, the retried round will actually run at comparatively low speed since it is written to the same location.
Hence, the displayed speed will not be the real speed of an SSD device.
Is it okay to tell why is the retry needed? Also, is it possible to have the retry mechanism revised?
Thank you.
