File transfers use pthreads rather than fork() and pipe(). Preliminay file "preview" code has been added. The French translation has been updated, some bugs with saving preferences have been resolved, a segfault with listing users if userlist was closed has been fixed, and threaded news posting has been implemented.
Fixes for preferences saving, an error in the manpage, dates in threaded news, and Ctrl-K in chat/message windows, and addition of history to private messages.
A font error that occurred on startup if the Chat window state was saved as closed has been fixed. A "You have been disconnected." dialog on unexpected disconnects has been added. The problem with multiple ls requests in a file browser and a segmentation fault with retrieving threaded news posts have been fixed. Threaded news support has been improved.

errors, file browsing and file transfers, a few
prefs-related bugs, some general protocol issues,
a few segfaults, and the 1.5 xfer queue/news systems.
This release includes a fix for a segfault while loading preferences, a fix for a segfault with bogus fonts, a fix for a segfault while renaming files, compliance for "No Agreement" data on 1.5+ Hotline servers, use of the -fPIC flag for compiling, and setting of ai_protocol hint and not ai_flags hint for getaddrinfo().
