This release includes an OpenID and OAuth timing attack fix, along with compatibility fixes for OStatus feed contents, API and feed discovery, and SSL certificate verification with SNI where available. Many UI translation updates from TranslateWiki.net, including an Esperanto translation.
For best compatibility with client software and site federation, and a lot of bug fixes, it is highly recommended that all public sites upgrade. Many translation updates and API fixes are in since 0.9.2; the API has also been extended to better support StatusNet-enhanced clients. Compatibility has been improved: OpenID now works with PHP 5.3, and some updates to PostgreSQL support are included.
This release includes stability fixes for OStatus communications between sites, major performance improvements for Geonames location lookups, fixes to the groups support in API, and many other small improvements. The installer can also be run from the command line (scripts/install_cli.php), which should be helpful for those integrating StatusNet into existing server environments.
This is a minor bug and feature release. It includes fixes to the Salmon protocol, improvements in remote subscriptions to Activity Streams encoded as RSS 2.0, administrative enhancements to the OpenID plugin, and new plugins for using pecl/memcached and for opening external links in their own window. There are some incompatibilities with 0.9.0.
This is a monumental, major feature release. Included are support for the new open standard OStatus, location awareness, administrator and moderator interfaces, dozens of new core plugins, ad support, better caching support, LDAP integration, and much more.
