This release offers turn-based games in addition to the continuous
ones. Speed and stability have been improved, and WAKit now provides
minimum functionality. A working installation requires the latest
version of PHPBasis; a complete WorDoG additionally requires the
images and WAKit (both available separately from the project site at
SourceForge).
This release uses PHPBasis , its own spin-off, to separate gaming-specific functions from common functions such as user tracking. Many other changes and improvements were made, so finally the game can be played, even with diplomacy.
This release fixes some bugs left over from the last release. Some internal processes have been improved, and the skinning possibilities have become more powerful.

This is a complete rewrite of WorDoG. It now
offers multiple simultaneous games. Other features
include skins, various maps, different rules, and
political models. This is the first alpha release,
and is therefore very incomplete and immature.
