This release sports a brand-new look 'n feel for the reports and improved URL support. The reports now use CSS style sheets and can contain embedded images. A 'publish' function using GnomeVFS makes it easier to copy reports to other systems using SSH, FTP, HTTP, or any other supported method. A bug that corrupted the user-defined report menu was fixed, as were a few crashes in the help subsystem.
Keyboard events now reset the timeout. The system was fixed and now actually starts up. Old multiple scheme bugs affecting billing reports were fixed, and 'infinite undo' was provided for cut projects. Keyboard cut (ctrl-x) was fixed so that it cuts only if the project window has focus. Users can now specify the day-of-week for the start of a new week, and the end-of-day is now configurable and need not be midnight. Obsolete menu entries were removed, and flyover help in the HTML reports was fixed. The order of yesterday/today columns was also fixed.
This release includes numerous fixes to the help subsystem,
a new pt_BR (Brazilian Portuguese translation), fixes for a
half-dozen bugs, and a new query report that allows you to
query a list of projects according to a set of dates.
This release improves several reports and the main window display, and fixes a half dozen crashes/hangs. The "Daily Report" will show not only the total hours worked, day by day, but will also show a bulleted list of tasks worked that day. The main window display can now show total hours worked for the previous day and previous week. Sub-projects can be fetched via scheme, allowing them to be included in reports. The scheme subsystem includes an elementary type system.
Backup copies of data are automatically saved and pruned. Time credited to project after inactivity timeout is now very easily adjustible. There are minor GUI enhancements. A to-do list report and tab-delimited export of the to-do list have been added. Some potential crashes have been fixed. The tree expander state is remembered. There is much improved scheme support in reports. Language translations have been revived. HTML reports are saved to a file (again). Inactivity due to laptop shutdown has been fixed.
