Support for ACPI was added. The AC/Battery power
state is dynamically determined by checking the
i8k module, APM, and ACPI
(/proc/acpi/ac_adapter/AC/state). If a suitable
power state reference cannot be determined, you
should use the battery temperature triggers.
Version 2.3 exists as a (masked) Gentoo ebuild and
Debian packages are available for testing and
unstable as gkrellm-i8k. Package maintainers will
be adding 2.4 shortly.

Minor bugfixes
Fixes include redirecting output of i8kfan utility to /dev/null, calling i8kfan utility much less often, and allowing the plugin to stop the fan if previously started manually.
A fix for a problem with the polling interval not matching real seconds due to variance in number of ticks in the GK struct, and a fix for a problem where the fan state may stray from the actual state.
