Unicode support. Support for gzip-encoded output. Minor functionality improvements and bugfixes. Improved documentation.

A dbpool module has been added. The project status has changed from 'alpha' to 'beta'.

Exception handling has been improved and is now
configurable, with no traceback sent to the
browser by default. The FastCGI module can now be
configured to use threading less, or not at all,
so it should work on more operating systems. More
documentation was added, and some miscellaneous
small bugfixes and improvements were made.

mod_python support was added. More documentation
was written. Miscellaneous minor bugfixes were
made.
