Modular node queries have been introduced,
supporting the most common network protocols (TCP,
UDP, SNMP, and others). The Web interface has also
been rewritten, and there is now an installer
script to make installation and upgrades easier.
Node Runner is now compatible with installations of PHP that have 'register_globals' turned off. Minor cosmetic changes, bugfixes, and security enhancements were made to the Web interface.
Minor syntax and browser compatibility issues were corrected. Functionality was added for querying secured Web pages and measuring load times for Web pages. Parts of the Web interface were reformatted for greater usability.
A new, multi-user, secure Web interface was added. Improvements were made to
the main query script. Minor enhancements include options for detailed alerts,
per node comment fields, and database backups.
Bugs were fixed to reduce unwanted status alerts and to reflect the proper path
for include files within the Web interface. The documentation was expanded to
include detailed installation instructions.
