This release addresses a number of bugs and enhancements reported on Sourceforge. It ads support for VPN and timestamping certificates. PHP5 compatibility has hopefully been improved.
The application is no longer limited to personal e-mail certificates. Enhancements in this release included SSL and IPSEC/VPN certificates, blank passwords on SSL and VPN certificates, user selectable key sizes up to 4096 bits, consolidation of certificate request forms, an option to download PKCS#12 or PEM formated certificates, configurable password file locations, automatic CRL updates, and multiple certificates with the same e-mail or common name.
Changed from alpha to beta versioning. Experimental Web server certificate support was added. Sample practices and policy statements are included. Descriptions have been added to menu selections, and insecure temporary file creation is fixed.
This release adds certificate status selection/filtering to the public search feature. Search features have also been added to the certificate management control panel.
This release adds end-user instructional documentation. A file download bug that could result in corrupt certificates and CRLs is fixed. Certificate/CRL downloads are now a bit more Netscape friendly.
