A new build system has been implemented for easier cross-compiling. The interprocess communication bus has been changed from UDP to TCP. Large parts of the CD ripper ("Stripped") have been rewritten for multi-threading, and the encoders are now provided via plugins. A new application ("Notorious") for installing and browsing a local copy of FreeDB.org has been added. The player ("Partyman") can now add new tracks to playlist from the command line even it isn't running. Most applications are now more drag'n'drop-aware and will quit if another instance is running.
Qt Style Sheet support has been added: now you can change the look and feel of the application in a rather simple way, similar to the Cascating Style Sheets of HTML. Partyman's next button will now lock if skipping is not possible, "remembering" to skip as soon as possible. The handling of the command line options has been rewritten completely. During installation, application menu entries will now be created. Some small bugs have been fixed.
The main focus is on Funkytown: the whole parsing engine has been rewritten from scratch, and it will now download MP3s displayed in the current MySpace player. The tabs of Partyman can now be selected by pressing the F-keys.
