The major changes in this release include handling of multiple blocks directories, execution properties such as limiting iteration count, handling of multiple algorithms through tabs, major refactoring of the type system, and several new macros added for easier use in blocks development.
This release adds a toolbar and zoom to the GUI, performance metrics, SVG export of the model, export of execution times, a fixed metrics summary, and error handling.
This is the initial release. Several bugs still
exist, especially at the GUI level. This version
allows loading, storing, and execution of
algorithms specified in a special XML format. New
functional blocks can be implemented at any time
and added to an algorithm. A simple GUI exists
that allows visual composition and execution of
the algorithms from available blocks.
